In 1994 Caveman Ranch was born out of a lifelong dream of Rod Tangren and his wife Paula. Who have created their one of a kind ranch located 25 Miles down the majestic Colorado River from Moab, Utah, being the only town in the state on the Colorado River. Set in Southeastern Utah in the heart of the Colorado Plateau. Where the confluence of the Colorado and Green River meet. Some of Utah's most spectacular mountain country, stretching for miles in all directions, virtually unchanged since prehistoric Caveman times. Gateway to the Canyon lands and Arches National Parks, Utah's largest. It has a variety of geological formations with mesas, red rock rims, and canyons rising over 7800 ft.

Come join us! We will fly you in and land on our private airstrip located on the ranch. What is real special about our ranch is that our home and the rooms you stay in. We have built our home and rooms inside of the mountain! It's a cave! Blown out, where the temperature never varies but a few degrees year round. Your cave room has rustic feel with ceiling fans, two queen size beds, small refrigerator, electric lights, bath room has a shower facilities and Daily maid service, but no laundry services available (sleeps a total of 4 people).

Our desire is to share with our guests the most of all the incredible charm the ranch has to offer. Guests who visit this wilderness hideaway appreciate the views and the solitude in a relaxed casual private setting as unreal and hard to duplicate. Two words come to mind "Paradise" and maybe better yet "Heaven."
